OVO Farm celebrated World Egg day 2021 by organizing events at three different locations in Kolkata and Bhubaneswar and an online contest to reach more audiences.
The offline activities were celebrated at Avishikta-1 Complex and Upohar Complex in Kolkata and at Northern Heights Apartments in Bhubaneswar. The activities for the event comprised of an Egg & Spoon Race, an Egg painting competition, and a selfie booth photography session. Around 120-150 members turned up at the event that saw the participation of more than 50 participants at each venue. Residents at the apartments from kids to the elderly participated in these activities who enjoyed the off-beat competitions with joy and gusto. The event was a big hit among the audience.
The online contest was a recipe-sharing contest that was initiated to garner attention towards OVO Farm in the digital space on the event of World Egg Day. The 14-day online contest started on 24th September and ended on 7th October. Participants were required to post a video of their recipe using eggs on their social media accounts by tagging @OVOFarm along with #OVORecipeMaking. This event made over 85,000 impressions on posts on social media.
